A client recently asked me about my investment strategy for 2023. Obviously, the markets are constantly moving by the second, creating opportunities and concerns. It's no secret that a financial advisor needs to stay on top of the movements in the markets. However, there are investment strategies that are quite boring, but still necessary.
They are:
1) monitoring investment portfolios to be sure that the underlying investments are still performing and a good fit.
2) researching investments to add to portfolios for further diversification.
3) keeping cash available for short term needs.
4) using more short term investments than in the recent past to take advantage of the inverted yield curve.
Lastly, and most importantly, it's important to stick to a good financial plan.
