I just read an interesting article about non-compete contracts. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) became concerned about non-compete contracts in the glass industry. The glass industry as in, glass container manufacturers. This was particularly of interest to me because I am also in an industry in which non-compete clauses are quite common. I would love to see more of these come under scrutiny as I don't see any benefit except to large corporations. They certainly aren't friendly to clients. More to come!
