I recently attended a webinar, hosted by LastPass, pertaining to cybersecurity. LastPass is one of the popular options people are using to keep passwords safe. With all of the criminals lurking out there, trying to steal your money and info, it is important to have a reliable, safe method for keeping passwords safe and LastPass is just one option.
First, we want you to know that at Seasons Wealth, we take the security of your information and accounts seriously. We have numerous measures in place to do everything possible to avoid a security breach, as do the companies with whom we do business.
Here are some things I learned in the webinar that I thought might be helpful.
1) The speaker mentioned that the head of cybersecurity at a large firm was recently scammed, the point being that, it can happen to absolutely anyone.
2) It is important for all companies, no matter the size and industry, to develop a culture of cybersecurity and, again, we have certainly done so at Seasons Wealth.
3) Large companies should be sure to send experts from their cybersecurity departments to shadow front line employees and others to get a good grasp of the company's challenges.
4) In business environments, it's important to talk about solutions to problems rather than simply talking about how prevalent problems are.
